Nancy (Nan) Hudspeth, LCMHC, MS

Wellness Coach

Nan is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and healing yoga facilitator with 35 years of experience partnering with and assisting people who are navigating through life challenges and transitions. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Nan is trained in Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), EMDR, and Embodied Recovery. She also has certifications in Lifestyle Coaching and Nutrition, CARES Dementia Training and Leadership, and Diversity and Inclusion therapy.

Nan is experienced in working with individuals and groups who seek greater peace, balance and well-being. Her skills as a counselor, educator and coach have been utilized in her work with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. Nancy has facilitated a wide variety of psychoeducational classes, including Resiliency Training; Forgiveness, Joy and Gratitude; Purposeful Living; Caring for the Caretaker; Mindful Eating, Diversity Training, and Transition Support groups. She spent several years working at Structure House in Durham, North Carolina, specializing in clients with eating disorders.

Nan believes that each person holds their own answers and her role is to facilitate confidence and assist individuals in finding the voice needed to advocate and protect themselves.
