Leena Anand is a doctoral student in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. Leena provides psychotherapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other related conditions. She has received extensive training at START Clinic for Mood and Anxiety Disorders, a tertiary care clinic in Toronto and at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital’s intensive outpatient unit in Chicago, Illinois. Leena recognizes that coming to therapy might be nerve-racking and requires courage. She strives to establish a warm, open, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe as they process difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Using integrative psychotherapeutic approaches under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, Leena implements evidence-based modalities that are tailored towards her clients’ needs and goals. She seeks to help her clients can gain better insight surrounding their problems and foster new ways of understanding their challenges. Within this empathic space, she guides her clients towards improved quality of life.
